From Dynagen, you have to stop /R1, then start /R1, and if console'd into the router, you use reload..so in a way, it is supported in dynamips, just not from the dynagen console.

The router hardware emulation doesn't get reset properly when you reload and IOS doesn't like that. The solution is to stop and start it from Dynamips itself which is basically "power" cycling the router.
