    I was getting so confused. All DNS entries are fine, both DCs ping through FQDN and the trusts are validating both incoming and outgoing fine. The global groups nest fine as I say, but the universal ones just aren't doing what they're supposed to do icon_sad.gif

    If you do figure it out I would greatly appreciate the answer not just for the exam but for future deployments.
