DVD problem

i have XPsp2 with windows media player 11 i have sound problem only with DVD i tried same DVD on vista no problem

What sort of sound problem? Sound doesn't play? Sound is garbled? The first thing I would check is codecs though generally one gets sound and not video rather than video and not sound. Also check on what sound channels are muted. Test it under another media player like media player classic and see what happens under that program.
