Passed 70-647 :)

I finally got my MCITP:EA status by passing the 70-647 exam on Friday with a score of 811. The exam was made up of 46 question and i had 2hrs 20mins which was more than enough. The exam was easier than i imagined as many of the questions were very similar (or rather repeated) from the w2k3 exams, ie: AD design, DNS, WSUS, GPOs, TS, etc. There were a handful of w2k8 questions but these were mostly based around; RODC, TS gateway, TS broker, HyperV, SharePoint & MOS, forest & domain function levels. All in all, i'd say you could answer more than half the questions without looking at w2k8 providing you know your w2k3 stuff.

- MS Self-Paced Training Kit
- Vista by CBT Nugget video training
- Intro to W2k8 by Trainsignal
- Home labs using HyperV

For the past month I've also been involved in a W2k to W2k8 server/network project through work. This included general DC upgrades, DNS, HyperV machines, TS farms, exchange 2007 and a few other bits and pieces... all of this was very helpful towards the exams.
