Anyone have an HP 6910p laptop?
I do, and I want to upgrade to wireless N. I was looking at this nice new Linksys WRT160 for a router. I went to HPs site to check if I needed an adapter. I figured my laptop only went to G. The specs listed on their site say 802.11 a,b,g, and Draft N. So I figure I'm ok..but the next line after that omits the Draft N..so I'm not sure if it will pick up the router signal. I could get a USB N adapter, but only if I have to....

Check in Device Manager if yours is an 4965AG or 4965AGN. -
msteinhilber Member Posts: 1,480 ■■■■■■■■□□I have the 6910p with the Draft N device. Astorrs is correct, if you have the draft N device it will detect as "Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN" in device manager.
