Need a water cooling solution for a raid card

Yea sounds silly, but I have several raid cards and those Adaptec 5 series gets about 100 degrees which is apparently fine according to Adaptec but my sound cards doesn't appreciate the crispy winter tan ..

I am currently planning in building my first water cooling system and why not a raid card ey :)

Anyway, the card has two holes above and below the heatsink.

The holes are 4.5cm / 45mm / 1.773inch apart.

Can anyone / someone suggest a water cooling block which should fit on that ? I was thinking about a North Bridge cooling block but it appears the standard holes are a bit too far apart.

Any help is appreciated.

Here a few pictures from both sides

You will need to send a few emails with this problem to the top water cooling manufacturers. My guess is that there is no off-the-shelf solution, but they'll all be able to make you an (expensive) custom solution.

I would suggest using an enclosure that can be super-cooled using internal fans. Or a portable air conditioning unit attached directly to the case might be cheaper than a custom watercooler.

Agreed 100% with JD. Look into Vapochill.

Me - I would go the way JDMurray suggested.

If you are bound and determined to have water cooling .... cool the sound card and not the RAID cards.

Found a Southbridge cooler which fits just fine :):)

Temperature under load : 40 degrees compared to 102 before :):)

Very neat hack but wouldn't it have been easier to use a PCI slot fan?
