CCNA lab kit

Hello, I started thinking about getting my CCNA Cert recently and basically I am looking for advice on what are the equipment I need to set up a home lab so I can hit the books and buy the equipment and start. Problem is I dont live near any place that they teach this kind of programs and wherever they do, they charge $2000 for like 10 months and I would like to really hit the books and try gettting it sooner. I was looking at the Ciscokits.com website and saw a few different kits but am unsure of which one is good for the ccna.... any recommendation would be great or maybe you guys know other places. Also what are good books to study from to do labs etc.... Thanks in advance guys.
