Test score confusion

I went and took 70-431 on Wednesday. It was 35 multiple choice questions with 12 sims. I went through the multiple choice questions with no problem. Screen went blank and then the 12 sim questions. When I finished the sims it said congratulations you passed with a 760. It was kind of a what the heck situation. I get my printout and it shows score on non-performance based items as 929 and score on performance based items as 760. Did I just get the lowest score of both tests? I'm really confused on how they scored it. I guess I should be happy that I passed at least.
