tape to dvd?
My grandson lives out of state, and I am looking into the possibility of taping some childrens stories for him to watch while I read. I do have one of the mini camcorders. Is there anything special I need to transfer the output over to dvd, other than maybe a simple editing program?

You'll need something to capture, edit, and burn it. The camera probably came with software that'll do some, if not all of that. I'm not familiar with Windows Movie Maker, but you might want to look at that as well. Adobe Premiere Elements is pretty good too.

We used Pinnacle at my old job to make training videos. Worked well enough.
