Well I have started and am working through the first chapter for exam 70-536.
When doing the exercises should I be doing them in VB or C#?
I have not used VB in a few years and am much more comfortable with C#, but am wondering if I will be tested on the language itself?
Thanks,
Dave.

Go with the language that you are most comfortable for in the exam. I took the two upgrade exams which were divided into sections. I took VB because I'm slightly stronger in it than Csharp -- at least for now.
The .NET languages are quite similar and it isn't hard to go from one to the other. Just make sure that you eliminate anything that will be a source of stress on the exam.I've escaped call centers and so can you!
