    1. The link didn't work.
    2. File Sharing Links "go away." That would make this thread useless to anyone reading it in the future who wouldn't have access to the configurations.

Are the routers on the same subnet (connected to each other)? Are the router addresses in the same subnet?

Can the routers ping their own interfaces (did you no shut the interfaces)? Did you verify that both the protocol and interface are UP with a show ip interface brief command?

Exactly which router can't ping which router? Or are there multiple routers and routing issues involved?

Is this a homework assignment for a class?

    I can't ping between the R1 and R2 and between R2 and R3

Is this a homework assignment for a class?
    NO

Did you do a sh ip int brief on R1 & R2? With no keepalive you may be repporting UP when it isn't -- why the no keepalive? Does the encapsulation method match on the interfaces between R1 & R2?

Are R2 & R3 on the same subnet?

I just (hopefully) picked out the correct interface configs from the diagram -- and those are the obvious problems. I didn't look any further than that, or check the NET file, or figure out why you have the clock rate set to 5600.

    Hehe icon_cool.gif

Anyways, I looked at the diagram (R1 Between R2) you had and it really does not match your config at all.
    Lets start with Router1:

S1/0 (which is connected to R2 according to the diagram) Has the following config:
    ip address 212.10.5.2 255.255.255.252
    encapsulation frame-relay IETF
    no keepalive
    serial restart-delay 0
    clock rate 5600
    no dce-terminal-timing-enable
    no fair-queue
    frame-relay lmi-type ansi

This is supposed to connect to R2 s1/1, which has this config:
    ip address 212.10.5.1 255.255.255.252
    no keepalive
    serial restart-delay 0
    no dce-terminal-timing-enable

R1 is labeled as the DTE in the diagram, but has a clock rate set and is actually enabled for frame relay. Your diagram looks like it is all point to point links, so you might want to remove all of that frame configuration. Then, put the clock rate command on R2 and take it off R1. While you are at it, you should remove the no keepalive commands :).

    Good luck :)

It looks like a troubleshooting assignment

it's not , this is an example given by one of the instrauctors trying to explain the curiculum of the ccna and i was trying to follow his examples but it didn;t work with me however it worked just fine with him, honestly he did not show us each configration

and why i made no keepalive because before use it it was shoing to me the interface up but the protocol down but after i did it shows up

now do you think if i removed the clock rate and the no keepalive is it gonna work ??

i when i remove the keepalive the protocol goes down directly ?no way i could'nt ?no ping at all icon_sad.gificon_sad.gif i delete the clock rate but no way ?it doesn't work too? and may i aske you another thing ?

what does it mean this ?

    f1/1 = NIO_udp:30000:127.0.0.1:20000
    f1/2 = NIO_udp:30001:127.0.0.1:20001
    f1/3 = NIO_udp:30002:127.0.0.1:20002

Did you make all the fixes? I had mentioned your "protocol mismatch" -- and JavonR actually told you to remove the frame relay configuration. Follow ALL his steps and you should be able to ping between R1 and R2.

That looks like the config of an add-in/add-on program that gives you Virtual PCs to use with Dynamips/Dynagen. I think that program is VPCS -- but I haven't used it.

For R2 & R3 -- remove those no keepalives and fix the incorrect subnet mask you have on one of the routers.
