Passed CCDA today

The study was slow but picked up at the end. All in all I enjoyed the material, and it was a good review after recently completing CCNP. Purchased the new ARCH book from Amazon that was released on 1/3/09, waiting for its arrival. So that is my next goal. I will continue to supplement that with CCNA security in meantime.

how long did you study for the DA?

I spent right at 2 months in preparation for it. Probably was ready a week or two early, but too cheap to pay full price for the exam. Waited for a discount voucher, and scheduled the exam after I was able to purchase one. When in study mode (which is almost always) I tend to study 4-5 hours per day, every day. Typically 2 hours before work and 2 -3 hours after work.
