IPV6 6to4 vs Manual tunnels
hi,
Are they two different methods? I see that both of them use almost the same commands (interface tunnel, tunnel source, ...).
The only difference I see is the Tunnel Mode and the IPv6 addresse we assign to the tunnel interfaces.
any idea?

The difference is 6to4 tunnels are dynamic, you do not configure a tunnel destination address, the destination is dependent on the received IPv6 packet destination address which gets converted to an ipv4 destination address. This makes the tunnel multipoint rather than a ptp manual tunnel.Networking, sometimes i love it, mostly i hate it.Its all about the $$$$
