Question about objectives guide

I have a specific question about the 2005/2007 objectives guide that you can download from CompTIA.

ATM is no longer in the objectives, but is listed in the Acronyms section.

In these types of cases, do I only need to learn the acronym?

    I believe it used to be part of the objectives so maybe they just left it in the acronym section. I would just know it anyway..not that much more info to learn in the scheme of things =0.

    Yeah, I came across a couple more in there as well (that aren't mentioned in the objectives).

    Hopefully, I don't need to know these terms backwards and fowards. And just remembering a gereral definition will surfice.
