networker050184 Mod Posts: 11,962 ModI'm currently doing the CCIP also slowly but surely! I'm doing QoS now and should be finished in a few weeks. I'm using the same material as you are. Plus I hava some knowledge net study materials for the whole CCIP track I have to get from a coworker who took the courses a while back. If that material is any good I'll let you know. For now its just CBT Nuggets, the exam cert guide and of course the docs.
Good luck on your IP!An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -

Other than hands on experience, that's all I used for the exam. -
mikej412 Member Posts: 10,086 ■■■■■■■■■■Here's a nice simple doc....
Cisco IOS Quality of Service [LAN Quality of Service] - Cisco Systems
... and you can follow the "Additional Information" link at the bottom to the main Cisco QoS page. The links there will take to more "good information" including a presentation link to a Cisco Networkers QoS Presentation and some good White Papers.
Use something like table 1 in that first link to help you keep track of stuff during your study. And maybe add 2 more columns to that table labeled "Old Way" and "New/MQC Way" and put "sample configurations" in them. I found that made for a quick and easy review. If I ever find my hand written sheet again I may type it up and turn it into a QoS TechNote/**** Sheet.
You may notice table 1 in the link above also matches the topics in the table of contents in the Cisco QoS Doc linked below. If you ever start to get confused by all the different configurations, just remember everything fits in that simple table/list (and that there's probably an "old way" and a "new way" ).
And those of you who have done the current CCNP ONT exam may recognize the "sequence" from the Describe DiffServ QoS Implementations Section of the ONT exam blueprint.
Cisco IOS Quality of Service Solutions Configuration Guide, Release 12.4 [Cisco IOS Software Releases 12.4 Mainline] - Cisco Systems
And here are the direct links to some of the QoS sections of popular switches. Feel free to substitute (and post) more recent IOS version docs
