Nesting on Local Machine only

Several users log onto the machine at different times. AD is not being used. Can a group be nested within another group on a stand alone local 2003 machine? It appears the a newly created group will not allow another newly created group to become a member.
i.e. user1 > groupA is fine, but then groupA > groupB will not work on a local machine.
It appears as if each group has to be added to the resource (a printer say) and the permissions for each group set at that level.

kctxau Member Posts: 130Thats the same results as I found. Since there is no AD in this situation, it doesn't appear as if local nesting is an option.
