    For the most part, there is no reason to think of or treat a virtual machine any different than a physical machine. For the overwhelming majority of operations, if it can be done in a physical environment the same can be done for the virtual side.

    Yep, works fine. Just make sure you bind everything to the right NICs

    Thank you. I try few setup, but the Cisco VPN or Nortel client failed to establish connection. I will check again.

    There is something wrong with your configuration if it doesn't work. I've used the Cisco VPN client inside a VM before and it works fine.

    What I wouldn't do is setup a server that serves as an edge firewall like an ISA server as a virtual machine. Virtualization software increases the attack surface far too much.
