Useful tidbits

I thought this was interesting. If you want to add the security tab to Win XP Pro you simple uncheck 'Use Simple File Sharing'. But what if you want to enable it in XP Home version? Who uses home version right? I use it for a voip pc I built for internet phone.

Solution:

1. Download Security Configuration Manager Tool (x86 (Intel version) is SCESP4I.EXE) from Microsoft.
2. Double click the SCESP4I.EXE and extract the contents to a folder on your hard disk.
3. Go to the folder where the SCESP4I.exe contents are extracted, locate the Setup.inf (Setup Information) file.
4. Right click on Setup.inf and select Install.
5. Reboot computer after installation finished.
