ISDN Dialer profiles

Hi there,
do yuo think its likely you would be asked to setup ISDN with dialer profiles or do you think they would just request legacy ISDN to be configured.
I only ask as i can't seem to get my head round dialer profiles, i understand the reason behind it but when it comes to doing it my brain just wants to explode ( to much study not enough brain capacity ) can anyone help me in this hour of need?
