When where the 70-271/272 exams updated?

I have a transcender exam kit and both Microsoft self study kits but, being poor (Pity me!) they are all second hand!

Are my study materials up to date?

Is there any particular materials or practice tests you can recommend.

Ps: this is my first cert exam after 2 years on first line support so i'm bricking it!!

That's a pretty good start. Hit up the exam objectives after you've gone through those to see if there's anything you missed. If you feel weak in an area or need more information, google it or hit up Technet. There are tons of free resources available.
