The 70-270 exam is a broad based exam to study for,
can I get some feedback on what subjects will "not" be on
the exam:
For example will there be a lot of Group Policy questions, etc.
There is so much to study for can you give me some ideas what
will not be covered extensively. I've looked at the objectives
and there is broad based topics covered, but I'm looking for areas
where I can save some time.. Thanks

The 'Pass' isn't the end all be all, the knowledge and the ability to apply the knowledge is.

In my test, I got a major chunk from backup and permissions as far as I can remember. Telling you more than this is violating the NDA. As genXrcist said, the real aim should be to learn the material and apply the knowledge, not just pass the test.

The question pool is large and you can expect to get one or more (usually a lot more) from each of the sections (in bold at the above link).
And as others have said, the goal should be to learn the material. A lot goes into determining "what someone who can pass the exam should know" (trust me, I've done IS/SS workshops) and the objectives reflect that.
And as Essendon touched on, going into any further specifics about the exam would be a violation of the NDA each examinee agrees to when they sit the test. -

You shouldnt get into a habbit of cutting corners because this will spill into your later studies. Do your studying correctly and you will pass the exam.
Btw, people cant give details out about exams. Its against the agreement you sign when you take them.Xbox Live: Bring It On
