reply from 10.x.x.x with high ms
when you get ping reply with high MS it mean losing packets or delay

When you ping you are sending 4 packets to whatever IP. The MS represents the time in milliseconds (delay) it takes to go from your IP to whatever IP you sent the packet to. The only time you will not get a response is when all 4 packets don't make it back or a firewall has blocked the ICMP reply. In this case, you will see the symbol * as a response. -

Oh.. and 10.x.x.x is a private class A IP... so you probably don't have that IP on your LAN. That would explain your problems. Try pinging with 127.0.0.1
