SQL Issue

I hope someone can point me in the right direction, as i know nothing about SQL and i am trying to hel someone out who has deleted SQL folder from a server. We have a link on our Intranet that allows you to type in someones name and it will come up with the users details, now ever since that folder has been deleted we get the error below. I have so far restored anything SQL related to this server from the most recent backup but we still get the error message. Can someone please help.

Have you looked at what statement is executed on line 104 of the referenced asp file?

The info you provided leads me more in the direction of a password being expired or something similar to that....

does the user data you are entering have a SQL login on the Database instance and/or database it needs?
