Passed BCMSN today
Finally sat the exam today and knocked it out, score was an 864 which is fine by me, a pass is a pass. I had to reschedule this thing 3 times do to family health problems and other issues but now it is done. I used Cisco's official guide, CBT nuggets, some lab work, on the job work, and some free online material I was able to gather including this site. Now if I can knock out the BSCI before June I'll be in great shape, I definitely plan to go into overdrive and study for this one.
For those taking the test, know about lightweight access points and how they interact with the WLC, not much was covered over autonomous AP's. I was ok on this section because in a previous job I had installed a few hundred 1200's and just before leaving began converting some to lightweights and getting them working with a WLC.
Know spanning-tree in and out, know how to configure a port to have priority on a vlan, know how to make a switch the root for a vlan, etc....
Those using the Cisco Guide, definitely go through the scenarios at the back of the book until you can complete them without error, I found them very helpful, especially for VRRP, HSRP, and GLBP configuration practice (when you can write down the config steps down on paper without using the tab completion menu for help, you have got it down).
I'll be taking it easy tonight, then starting on the BSCI tomorrow.

Paul Boz Member Posts: 2,620 ■■■■■■■■□□Definitely going to echo the "make sure you understand Lightweight AP's" statement. There just isn't much to an autonomous AP and Lightweight systems are heavily cisco-centric (lots of products to push on you during studying) so that's where the focus is. Good job borumas.
You mentioned the BSCI next. Any time frame for the ISCW and ONT? They are cake by comparison. also, what made you take switching before routing?CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA

Paul, I chose switching for 2 reasons, one is that I felt I had more experience on the switching and wireless side and the other is that the exam material was more prudent to my job. BSCI is also very prudent to my job, especially OSPF and BGP, I'm looking forward to learning more about the material. I hope to knock out either ISCW or ONT this year also, but I have a Security+ class scheduled in March so I'll be needing to fit that cert in there also (hopefully attempt it before the end of March while the class material is fresh). -
