Adding a computer to a domain

When adding a computer to a domain, like here:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/joindomain.mspx

It says "Provide user name and password credentials to show you have the appropriate permissions to join the desired domain."

Does this mean a domain acct or local?

My guess is domain acct.

A domain account that has the right to add computers to the domain. A domain admin account of example.
