Can anybody explain this?

TeRouter1>sh interface

Soon after the above typings, the sim proceeded to terminate my session.

I know it works because a few minutes before I ran thru the entire sim with no problems. It began acting up when I began trying to use "some of the other supported commands". Now the basic commands seem broken.

Don't know...but you might as well uninstall it and reinstall it. This will save you time instead of trying to figure out the problem.

uninstall what? that session is from this website's online java based simulator.

But Viper is still correct though, you could remove it from your temp internet files. Did you try the restart sim command?
