Exam date: Thursday the 26th of Feb.
Material used:
CBT Nuggets
Trainsignal
KNet
Narbik QoS labs
QoS exam cert guide 2nd edition
Well, to sum it up i think i'm ready to give it a go. I feel pretty solid in all areas, except of course the switching qos objectives because i have no switches yet, but i understand the different switching qos objectives including the cos-to-dscp maps, wrr queing and trust boundaries. I'll let you all know how it goes!

CCIEWANNABE Banned Posts: 465thanks, I appreciate all the support. I'll keep you posted. I'm thinking after QoS to go for the BGP exam. Do they make any books specifically aimed at the BGP Exam? I know there is an Internet Routing Architectures book and BGP Design and Implementation book, but is there a book specifically written for the BGP exam? thanks for the help!

tmlerdal Member Posts: 80 ■■□□□□□□□□I couldn't find a book specific to the BGP course. But Internet Routing Architectures was pretty good. I also used the first couple of chapters of Routing TCP/IP Volume 2.
Good luck on QoS. -
CCIEWANNABE Banned Posts: 465well, yesterday i passed the QoS exam. I have to say that the QoS book really covered everything very well. Without it, I wouldn't have been able to pass the test. So, with that said I think I am going to take a detour and knock out the CCNA:VOICE exam next. CCNA:VOICE is calling my name!! haha, ok, not that funny. Anyway, I ordered the CCNA:VOICE Exam cert book today, so I will give myself a few days off and then get back into the books! We have some voip networks here at work and i think management would like the fact that i have some voice certs.

I'm considering detouring to CCNA:Voice once I knock QoS over on Tuesday as well..... We'll see.... I've got the BGP and MPLS books haunting me in my study though....
In case you change your mind and decide to go the BGP exam - there is no specific BGP exam book like the QoS Exam Cert Guide.
What I picked up for the BGP component of CCIP is the following
- BGP Design and Implementation
- Internet Routing Architectures
- Cisco BGP-4 Command and Configuration Handbook
Plus I've got Routing TCP\IP V1 and V2 lurking around the place that I refer to every now and again if I want further clarification on thingsand to help with my ultimate goal of CCIE.
So maybe think about those when you get around to the BGP exam
