Group Policy Wallpaper
Hi there,
We have configured group policy to display a standard wallpaper across all company machines, Hhowever, when a user is not on the network the wallpaper does not appear. I would expect the wallpaper to be cached and used whether the machine was on the network or not.
Has anyone else experienced this?

rwwest7 Member Posts: 300Wallpaper is not cached. The way I do it is create the image I want to be the desktop, then save it as bliss.bmp. Copy it to C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper on the client computer, overwriting the existing default Windows bliss image. Then set the GPO to use bliss as the background.
