DFS- Advice/Help
Hello,
I am in the need of advice/help - I have a file server "server2003 R2" with DFS installed. Previous administrator created a namespace and as well as folder targets were created. He selected folder targets that are local folders. The file server houses profiles for our Terminal Server users as well as file sharing "obvioulsy". My thoughts were to add another server with server2003 R2 and add the server to the namespace and create a replication group, just in case if the primary server were not available there would be some kind of failover.
Has anyone ever done this or am I not getting the whole picture?
