70-621 towards MCSA???

Hi guys,

I already have MCDST and I want to start studying for MCSA. I know that 70-620 counts as an elective but I was wondering if 70-621 will also be good? I could get MCITP: Enterprise Support Technician at the same time if I did 70-621.

Thanks,
Bogdan
Going for:N+, MCSA/MCSE.

You can use 621 anywhere you see 620.
Note Exam 70-621 can be used as credit for any certification requiring Exam 70-620: TS: Windows Vista, Configuring, as a required or elective exam. In other words, Exam 70-621 satisfies the Exam 70-620 requirement in all cases.

Hi There, I too am studing for my MCSA, One of the boys i was traing with (Classed based training) Gained his MCSA after sitting only the 270, 290 & 291 as like you he had the MCDST. (which also counts as an elective for the MCSA).

I am not saying don't sit the 620/621 but you could put it off a bit!

I on the other hand don't have a MCDST so need to sit the 284 (exchange 2003) before i become MCSA certified. Or should i say re-sit as i faild it yesterday.
