I need to do a presentation project for my political science class that I need to work with another person. I was thinking of using google docs and have my group mate upload a starting power point presentation template. I think this would be a good idea since we both need to work on it.

Is there any drawbacks I need to watch out for when doing this? Like compatibility problems? It needs to be opened up with Office 2007's power point on the school's computer when we do the presentation.

I haven't used google docs yet so I'm not really sure what it's limitations are.

I've used it before and had formatting issues after pulling presentations down and opening them in Office '07. I'd suggest keeping an excel copy at all times.
