Confused on some things. I'm just a pc tech at work but trying to learn about networking. We have several different buildings. Therefore, we are interconnected to them. Now here's where I'm confused
We have both a T1 line AND use frame relay. Correct me if I'm wrong.
-the T1 is giving us internet access
-the frame relay is interconnecting our different sites (locations)
Does that sound right?

The T1s are your access to your provider's Frame Relay network like a dial up, dsl, cable, etc. type of access to the Internet thru an ISP. Once your information enters your provider's Frame Relay network it is kept isolated from other users' info on the same Frame network normally via Permanent Virtual Circuits (PVCs) that are configured at the Frame provider's routers/switches to only inerconnect your sites with your data...much like VPNs on the 'Net.Slàinte!
