Questions on the Network+ Exam
vvjoe2002
I have decided to take the exam within a couple of weeks, and was wondering what type of questions are asked on the exam? Are they fill in the blank, multiple choice, word problems? What exactly is the format of the test? A mixture of all of these? And are they taken on a computer with your results given as soon as you are done? Thanks for the input.

The A+ is nothing but multiple choice. If you want to see what kind of questions are asked then get this book. A lot of the questions on the test will be in this book. You are given your score when you finish the test.

it's all computer based & it's multiple choice, and you do get your score as soon as you're done (although sometimes you have to go through a short survey before you get your score). Some questions are straight forward, but there are a lot of problem-solving type questions too. There may be some questions where you have to choose more than one answer, but most often they tell you to choose the two/three/however many correct ones out of the choices given. Every exam is different, so you'll see a mix of these questions in varying degrees depending on your "luck" come exam day.

Sorry, I'm stupid for not even looking at which forum I was in.
