Custom Availability (free/busy) status?

Does anyone know of a customization via a 3rd party app or something else that would allow for modifying the availability service in Exchange 2007 to have additional status besides Free/Tentative/Busy/Out Of Office? And allow for selecting the custom availability when creating appointments in Outlook 2007?
My CIO for some reason really thinks we need this and wanted me to look into it. I haven't turned anything up so far in searching. I told him not to get his hopes up but he still wants me to look.
I know about the custom presence in OCS, but he's not looking for real-time status.

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...
