AD Sites Question

I can't really find confirmation on this but, does anyone know if i throw a class b subnet into AD Sites & Services. Such as 10.16.0.0/16 will it cover all the possible subnets i can make out of that? Or does a subnet have to be made for each one. IE 10.16.1.0/24, 10.16.2.0/24 etc...

I did some research on this and came across this article: Q. Should I define a "catch-all" subnet for my Active Directory (AD) sites?

Looks like a pretty cool little trick. You can have a /16 to encompass everything and then break out a few subnets by giving them a specific definition.
