Hi Guys - 1st Post! icon_lol.gif

I've been reading this forums for a while now and always found them very helpful. Its good to see that it's not just me that doesn't always pass 1st time!!

I'm just passed my 70-294 exam and am now due to take 70-297 (my final exam before MCSE) in the next couple of months.

I understand that it's quite different to my previous exams due to the case study style of questions, which i'm sure will be fun!

Can anyone recommend resources for 70-297 in particular, or is it just a combination of everything i've learnt in 290,291,293 & 294?

I'm thinking MS Press book, is this the best one for the exam?

It is mostly a review of everything, but be advised that they focus a lot on upgrading and migrating from older versions (NT and 2000). I would suggest getting either the MS Press book or Syngress book to study for it. I went in the first time without studying specifically for it since it was just a review and failed miserably (5xx).

The case study format isn't really what makes the exam difficult. It is the fact that if you answer one question wrong (like the number of domains that you will need), that can lead to answering other questions wrong.

Pretty much everyone is concerned about the format of the 297/298 exams going in, but once they actually see what it is all about they aren't worried anymore. As long as you know your stuff and know how to skim quantities of text for key information you should be fine.
