Are you worried about this hitting on April 1st? Ive talked to a few IT folks who don't seem too concerned. Consensus seems to be, if youre up to date on patches, no worries. Well, what happens if you patched and your machine had already been effected?

tiersten Member Posts: 4,505Not too concerned about it. Patched the hole a long time ago. None of the users are allowed to use removable media without it being scanned first. Also got NAC running to prevent unclean or unauthorised devices being connected.

the_Grinch Member Posts: 4,165 ■■■■■■■■■■Just be careful with the removable media as new versions of the worm have been able to disable the antivirus so no scan takes place. Most people agree that the April 1st date will just start a new way to update. That is how the previous dates have worked, leave it to the media to make it worse then it really is...WIP:
