IE 8 oops?

brad-brad- Member Posts: 1,218
So I'm trying IE 8 and its similar to firefox...except still no ability to skin it.

I noticed on thing though, I couldnt find a "new tab" button. Ya CTRL-T works, but FireFox is still much better IMHO if for nothing else it is skinnable and has better cookie control. How could they have left out the new tab button - its one of their latest features to stay competitive?

There's a small tab next to your main tab, click that.

Or, Right Click Tab -> New Tab

Or, Alt -> File -> New Tab

I'm, at the moment, working on remvoing IE8 from a client's machine within the Organization. I get a ticket about how his VM and Job Cost websites aren't working. Come to find out he has admin rights and thought he needed IE8. Well IE8 hasn't been approved yet org wide. Heck IE7 still hasn't been approved. Its folks like this dude that keep me in a job. Which I appreciate!

Doesn't insisting that people use IE6 count as cruel and unusual punishment?
