Getting the IP addrress for an IP phone

I'm not using CME nor CallManager, but I'm trying to set up a basic voice lab. When I connect my IP phone to my switch, which goes to my router, what command(s) is it I input to get that IP phone going? I've already gotten my two analog phones talking to each other. Do I have to set up a DHCP pool first?

You can set everything manually on the phone itself, but can I ask what router you are using? I'm guessing you have voice ports if the analog phones work.

I have a 3810 Cisco router. It has FXS ports, and I'm connecting my switch to its ethernet port. It does have a DSP.

The MC3810's can only do analog as far as I know

Never worked with the concentrators, but I don't think you can get an IP Phone going with only a 3810 in your lab
