Orphaned DC after installing Term Services?

Hey guys I have a 2003 EE edition and I installed Terminal services on it which rendered my server dead. It takes forever and doesn't even boot past the windows splash screen. The little status eye just stays frozen. But it was a DC so it is still embedded in AD...can I rebuild it and then keep the same name SRV3 and same IP 192.168.15.73 and use dcpromo and rebuild the AD and will it overright what is in AD and be fine? or do I have to hack out the SRV3 old AD metadata?

You will have to cleanup everything out of AD manually first if you will be using the same machine. You should be able to rebuild and dcpromo it so it gets all the current AD info. Check the link for more details
