Weird Printer Issue
This one is unique to me. Brother HL-5050 laser printer. For some unknown reason, it quit printing documents in Word 2003. The printer gives an error saying out of paper or jam (neither is true). I've cycled the printer and computer numerous times, have upgraded the Brother driver, repaired 2003, still same issue.
Any other application will print fine (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Notepad, Word Pad, etc) just Word decided it doesn't want to work anymore.
Ive emailed Brother support, no response, and searching online did not bring up anything like this. Suggestions?

Does Word have any different settings (i.e. going to a different tray)?
Have you tried completely uninstalling the printer and reinstalling it? -
Bokeh Member Posts: 1,636 ■■■■■■■□□□Ive completely removed the driver and printer from XP. Reinstalled driver to no avail. Word can print from either tray normally, but wont print from either tray now. When I have a free moment I'll drag a laptop up there and install the driver as well and see if it prints.
