acer/broadcom issues
Can't get this acer 3000 to connect to my wifi ....
No ssid broadcast... But 3 other laptops are not struggling with this.
I am certain I have the mac address allowed (why because it worked correctly for 2 years)....
Basically all the sudden the thing (acer P.O.S) says that it detects wifi networks (not mine), but will not connect.
WHen I do an:
ipconfig /all
the card shows as: media disconnected
HOwever I have enabled the P.O.S via control panel several times.
I even re-installed the device and driver.... Checked all power settings. Recreated the connection....... blah blah blah....
anyone?????

well it connects to the wifi router now.... The laptop shows that it is passing traffic back and fourth to the router (wifi router)... but I can't ping it, or anything else for that matter (ok well local host)....
I just reinstalled windows as well....
This one is really getting me...encrypt the encryption, never mind my brain hurts.
