I have a question regarding Cisco Unity call handlers

I want to have a scenerio where a call is routed to a specific unity number (3002) and after the caller is played a greeting they are allowed to input digits to get to a subcriber's extention and establish communication. I have done what I could but so far it isn't working. Can anyone help me out?

I've created a voice port in Call Manager CiscoUM1-VI2
but when I try to register Unity 4.0 with Call Manager and test the connection I get the following error:
CiscoUM1-VI2 does not respond to registration requests. Says Make sure devices is created in Call Manager database.
It's there, already created it, so I'm missing something in the registration process that will allow Unity to register with Call Manager. I have auto-registration enabled and the messaging services activated.
Anyone who can help ?
