What is the job market like in New England? What are good places or areas to look for work? My wife is talking about moving there in a couple of years.

I live in new england and the job market here is somewhat hit or miss from what I can tell. Near the major cities there is a lot of IT work. But outside, it is a little hard. I moved to be near hartford CT a few years ago and the IT job market here is pretty good. We have a lot of insurance companies and that helps a lot.
I used to live in Massachusetts and the IT job market there was horrible. But, I was too far from Boston to work there. So, that could be a different story all together. Good luck!BS - Computer Science
