MCSE Elective

Hey there guys,
So we know there are people out there who've earned the MCSE with the following:
70-270, 70-290, 70-291, A+/Net+, 70-293, 70-294 & 70-298
Has anyone earned their MCSE recently by passing:
70-270, 70-290, 70-291, A+/Net+, 70-293, 70-294 & 70-297 ?
We know MS says the A+/Net+ doesn't count as an elective but that obviously isn't true given people have earned it with the first set of exam passes.
So, anyone out there who passed with the 70-297?

I realize that some people have earned the MCSE credential without an elective & with just the A+/Network+ but it would make me nervous to not go by the book & take all the exams that are documented. Just my take on it.Currently Studying For: Nothing (cert-wise, anyway)

Thanks for the reply Skprune. My plan is to pass the 293, 294, 297, 284 & then Sec+ so it's not an issue of cutting corners or trying get certified via a loophole. I'll be taking two exams that both qualify as an elective but if I can get an MCSE a month or so ealier than I thought I was going to then I can plan ahead for job hunting, pay raise negotiation etc.
Thanks for the link but this only confirms what we already know, that Microsoft says A+/net+ don't count as an elective but there are a couple of people on this forum who earned the MCSE with it being their elective. The only difference is they took the 70-298 while I'll be taking the 70-297.1) CCNP Goal: by August 2012
