294 set for next week.. Any pointers??

I currently have the 270 and 290... this seem like the next logical step.

You only need the 291 for your MCSA. I would hit that after the 294. As far as knowing 294, I have heard you really need to know AD.

I've just started studying for the 70-294, and I would have said that the next logical step for you after the 70-290 would have been the 70-291, and then the 70-293. Of course this may vary depending on your level of real-world experience and what you are trying to achieve by gaining particular certs.

Is there a reason why you are taking the exams in this order?

It just seemed like the next logical step for me.

A+ and Netowkr + were easy. 70-270 gave me my OS credit and MCP Status.

290 seemed very passable as well.

291 to me seems to most difficult.

I hope to be MCSA in the next month. Then on to MCSE!

That's actually the order I did it in too, though I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. I just needed a break from that type of material and thought 294 would be a nice change of pace. Sometimes you just need to go with what you're interested in at the moment; there's no right or wrong way.
