I conquered. 50 questions, 120 minutes, 700 to pass (I thought it was 60/120/750). Anyhow, I finished with 810. After scoring 730 and 633 on practice exams in the previous 12 hours I admittedly was thinking more about that free retake than I should have. But maybe that is what kept me relaxed enough to get through.
First dozen or so questions I found to be bit difficult. Good chunk of security and GPO related items. The end of the test featured a lot of sharing and permission scenarios, which I found to be easy stuff once I could get my head on top of it. I went back and reexamined the 9 questions I marked for review, then winced and I ended the exam.
Whew. It's done. Still another six weeks for the free retake offer so I will bone up for another exam for the end of September.
And btw, I printed up some of the technotes here before heading out the door. I picked up at least three questions on that info alone. Great work.

lazyart Member Posts: 483That sounds logical... I'd like to get Exchange Server 2003 (70-284) knocked out but something tells me I'm better off saving that for last and use 290 to familiarize myself more with 2003 Server. With the Exchange exam I would satisfy both an MCSE 2003 and MCSA 2000 elective and perhaps hold both certs one day.I'm not a complete idiot... some parts are missing.
