discover proxy server

how can I discover if there is a proxy server in a network without disturb the administrator and wait him 10mins , to come and type proxy server and port

Sounds like you are trying to circumvent the network. That would not be looked upon as a positive thing at my work, so my advice is to wait for the "10 minutes" and have him set it up. If you can't wait for 10 minutes, then something else must be going on.
