WINS resolution in WebVPN

Hello again,
So I've been working on a WebVPN for the past week and have been running into an issue. Using CIFS I am able to map to specific network shares by using the FQDN, but not via shortname unless I set the default dns suffix to the suffix of the device I'm trying to browse to. Our Wins environment is setup to resolve the shortnames of the devices I'm testing on. It seems like even though I specified 2 different WINS servers to use it's only trying DNS and then giving me an error. Anyone have any ideas?
