Catalyst 2950 VLAN setup question

Hi Cisco experts!
I have a Catalyst 2950 switch which I have just set up, and I am trying to set up 3 VLANS. Reading a guide on Cisco's site I have found the command
set Vlan
but this spits out an error telling me invalid character for v!
Anyone shed any light on this?

The 'set' commands are for use with switches that run CatOS, 2950s and other newer switches run IOS. Here's how to do it on IOS:
